The way we work
Thorough Assessment
Every watch is examined before any work begins. You receive a clear account of what is needed and what is not.
Purposeful Workmanship
We work on what requires attention, without overservicing. The aim is to extend the life of your timepiece, not to create unnecessary expense.
Written Documentation
Water resistance services include a written report. We keep a service record for each watch that passes through the workshop.
Local & Accessible
Based on Persiaran Gurney in George Town, we are easy to visit for residents across Penang island.
Realistic Timelines
Completion times are given honestly at intake. We do not rush work to meet arbitrary targets.
Considered Handling
Watches are handled with appropriate care at all stages, from intake to collection.
Your watch deserves a second look.
Bring it in or get in touch to describe what you've noticed. We'll take it from there, at a pace that suits the work.
Frequently asked
How do I bring my watch in for service?
You can visit the workshop directly at 145 Persiaran Gurney during opening hours, or contact us first via phone or email to arrange intake. For watches with sentimental value, calling ahead is often a good idea.
Do you service all watch brands?
We work on most quartz-movement watches from everyday wearers to more considered pieces. If you are unsure whether your watch falls within our scope, a brief description by phone or email will help us advise you before your visit.
What is included in the service price?
Prices listed cover the standard service as described. If additional work is identified during assessment, we will discuss this with you before proceeding. There are no unannounced charges.
How long will the service take?
Turnaround times vary by service: quartz movement work typically takes 5–7 working days, water resistance testing 3–5 working days, and bracelet or strap restoration 1–2 weeks. We will confirm a realistic timeframe when your watch is received.
How often should a watch be serviced?
For watches regularly worn near water, annual water resistance testing is worth considering. Quartz batteries and seals typically benefit from a check every 2–3 years. We can suggest an appropriate schedule after reviewing your watch.
Is my watch kept securely during the repair period?
Yes. All watches in our care are stored securely within the workshop and handled only by the technician working on them. An intake record is created for each piece at the time of drop-off.
